Las Ramblas de Orihuela Golf

Las Ramblas is located 40 minutes south of Alicante, 30 minutes from the beautiful city of Murcia and only 5 minutes drive from the fabulous beaches of Orihuela Costa. The golf course is set in mountainous terrain between two ravines on the shore of the Mediterranean. Its location and layout makes the course very interesting for players who like to take a few risks and requires accuracy throughout as both fairways and greens are narrow and demanding. Although it is mountainous, the course is populated with enough trees to enhance the scenery, provide shade and add obstacles to recording good scores. It is not dry either, Las Ramblas means riverbeds, which may be dry but the lakes on the course certainly aren't and they do come into play. A number of the slopes on the course are very tricky; the most spectacular is the 4th a par 5 named "la Plataforma". The hole requires absolute precision to judge the affect of the steep slope and also to avoid the two water hazards protecting the green. The course is not too long but we do recommend hiring a buggy to help traverse the undulations and give you more time to take in the wonderful views.
