Golf Course Says
Langland Bay Golf Club can lay a fairly strong claim to be the undiscovered treasure of the rich golfing country that makes up the Gower Peninsula. The course opened in 1904 - that old master of golf course architecture James Braid had a hand in designing some of the holes - and is largely a meadowland course which occupies a classic links location between Langland and Caswell Bays. The course is not long but the wind is often in play and the greens are not only well protected but also have enough trouble to the rear to make club selection vitally important.
