This renowned and justly popular course, always highly maintained, lies between the Atlantic Ocean and Lac Lacanau. The narrow fairways run through a densely wooded forest, ably aided and abetted by some severe dog-legs, yawning water hazards and an abundance of sand. One of the most taxing challenges on the coast but equally, one of the most enjoyable.
