Golf Course Says
La Canada was born when the local villagers decided that they wanted a golf course. They hacked out a mountainside track, the municipality donated the land, Robert Trent Jones did the design and La Canada was built as a 9-hole course. With the recent completion of a new 9 holes by Dave Thomas, La Canada is now a thrilling blend of styles. Thomas' front 9 features a lot of water, while the back 9 is typical Trent Jones. Local players get preference so visitors have to book in advance. It's well worth the effort and good value too.
