Kirkintilloch Golf Club was founded in 1895 and was extended, under the watchful eye of James Braid, to 18 holes in 1924. Further changes and six new holes came into play at the turn of the millenium. Today the course measure 5860 yards and has a par of 70 from the white tees. Kirkintilloch Golf Club, a fine mixture of park and heathland, is easily accessible from Glasgow.
