We played Kirkcudbright Golf Club as part of a society day and we had a good welcome on arrival. The course plays pretty tight and a few holes require an iron off the tee or a very brave drive. A few of the later holes allow you to open up your shoulders. The course is shaped very nicely and all the holes are different. This was the 3rd time I had played the course and I thought the greens were average at best. The quality of the grass on the greens was poor.
