Golf Course Says
A delightful parkland course that is easily accessible from Edinburgh Kings Acre Golf Course was created by Graham Webster, one of Scotland's foremost course architects, and makes wonderful use of the natural landscape to provide the golfer with 18 interesting holes that make good use of bunkers and water to test golfers of all abilities. Kings Acre is lucky to sit on sand based soil which ensures the course is playable throughout the year. It is little wonder that some European Tour professionals choose Kings Acre to practice.

Kings Acre is a short course, but one that is well designed. Its greens are well constructed and are usually in great condition regardless of the time of year. Some of the holes are a bit 'fitted in' but there are some great holes too, such as 11, 12 and 15 with its right angled dog leg. Good clubhouse and excellent range facilities make Kings Acre good for a round and for practice.

Kings Acre Golf Course is a course created in a super golf academy. The course is designed to improve course management and test all shots in a players bag. Kings Acre Golf Course usually maintains a great standard of greens and fairways that will improve your enjoyment of one of the best golf centres in Scotland!

Kings Acre Golf Course is not the most outstanding course I've ever played but still very enjoyable. Greens were in great condition and had a bit of pace. Very warm, relaxed atmosphere at Kings Acre Golf Course which makes you feel welcome. Practice facilities are superb with a great driving range along with a small pitch and putt course for all ages. Kings Acre Golf Course has two loops of nine with the par 3 11th over a wall requiring a well struck long iron. Easy to get on and worth the price.
