Golf Course Says
The Dene Course at the Isle of Purbeck can lay claim to be the only golf club in England to have been built by a best selling author. The Championship course at Purbeck was founded in 1892 but it was only when Enid Blyton was owner of the course that the nine hole Dene Course was built as an extension to the exisiting 18 holes. Today the Isle of Purbeck Dene Course is a firm favourite in Dorset and gives beginners there chance to really hone their game before tackling the Championship course.
