Hirst Priory Park, Crowle, DN17 4BU, England

Over the 5 years or so I've played this course, I've seen a steady improvement to the course itself. The greens and fairways are always in good condition and well maintained. Water has been introduced, fairways narrowed by the planting of trees and a weak par 3 made into a better par 4. All of these have added to the experience. The course is blessed with a sandy subsoil which obviously drains well. All in all, a nice course. The off course amenities are OK. The bar and catering are very good, but the "pro shop" sells only the very basics. There is a practice ground but no driving range. I travel regularly (2 or 3 times a month) from West Yorkshire to play here, so they must be doing something right!
