High Beech Golf Course

I'm a new golfer and I popped along to the High Beech club and had a 9 hole pitch and putt round. The holes are quite short, between 53 and 118 yards and they are all quite forgiving in as much as there are not too many places to lose a ball! The fairways are well kept and the whole course has good drainage (we played after a few days of heavy rain). Some of the greens are really tricky and are deceptively sloped, making putting on this course a challenge. We had a fantastic short round and will be back for more. Oh, you will need a bag each, but you can hire one for 50p if you only took your wedge and putter!
