Media Reviews
Where2Golf.comAt the first two holes and the last five of Hesketh golf course, sizeable sand dunes give plenty of contour and character to this part of the golf course, these holes encircling the impressive clubhouse. In between these seven holes however, the terrain is much flatter, more in keeping with parkland, and even meadowland on the 6th and 7th holes, where it runs alongside a renowned bird reserve. The sea itself is too far off to be seen, but with trees, water and/or deep rough bordering both sides of most fairways, you'll need to keep your full attention on the course itself. Although not scenically dramatic, Hesketh is still a very pleasant and natural golf course, very well maintained and a venue for prestigious regional amateur events.
Todays GolferAlways impeccably conditioned. The rough is the stuff of nightmares! The final five holes are sheer class.
