Harburn is a bit out of the way but is worth the drive. The fairways were lush however the greens were not too great. There are a few good holes with the par 5 9th being a good test with the pond and burn short of the green. The par 3 15th is a joy to play however the par 4 18th is a poor finishing hole.

Harburn Golf Course is a long drive from Edinburgh and actually a long drive from anywhere. To be honest, its not worth the drive. Harburn is a short course with a fairly poor layout. Short steep undulations try to add to the course, but Harburn Golf Course is not a course that inspires excellence.
