With a history dating back to 1882 when Dr Thomas Browne realised that the North Denes was a suitable location for a golf course Great Yarmouth & Caister Golf Course is an excellent example of traditional links golf. Laid out on the predominantly sandy ground it is famed for the quality of its greens and now dovetails effortlessly around the adjacent (and in some cases encircling) Great Yarmouth racecourse. With some memorable and challenging holes this is links golf at its best and will provide an enjoyable challenge to player of all abilities.
