Golf Course Says
Founded in 1906 Gosforth Golf Club is a mature parkland layout just three miles north of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne. Host to many area championships the course is a challenge to the even the highest level of player and with a continual programme of improvement, including the planting of 7000 trees which are now all fully in play, Gosforth continues to evolve and add more challenge. With the Ouse Burn running through the course and providing a test on a number of the holes it has a steady mix of tough par 4’s, testing par 5s and gentler par 3’s to present an enjoyable test to all players.
