The Marão and Aboboreira mountains provide a dramatic backdrop for Golfe de Amarante but the small, tight greens, rising tee shots and lakes on a number of holes means that the landscape is not the only dramatic thing about a round at Amarante. The course is hilly and some players will prefer the luxury of one of the many buggies available for hire.
