Like the Karsten Lakes golf course, Gainsborough Golf Club's Thonock Park course is kept in the best of condition throughout the year with excellent drainage allowing the greens to stay in play throughout the winter. Thonock Park golf course does not share the same level of Americanisation as Karsten Lakes and the layout is much more in line with the classic parkland courses of England. Gainsborough Golf Club offers on site accomodation in the shape of two apartments that are perfect for smaller groups and which help make Gainsborough the perfect golfing destination.
