Generally regarded as the best example of a traditional tree lined Surrey golf course the Foxhills Golf Longcross Course is a challenging 6743 yard course that showcases the very best of British inland golf. The tight fairways and water hazards make this a course where the errant shot will be punished and the wayward shot will inevitbaly show on your card. The landmark holes are probably the first where the narrow target off the tee dictates the mood of the round, the ninth where an uphill drive is unlikely to set you up with shot into the green and the 18th where even the best drive is likely to leave a blind approach shot.

Todays GolferThe greens run straight and true but many holes are fairly similar. The 14th is class though. Lovely clubhouse and good well priced food. Overall rating of 70%.
