The El Chaparral Golf Course at La Cala De Mijas has the distinction of a view of the Costa del Sol from all 18 holes. Surrounded by indigenous vegetation, the wide and varied fairways and greens is the ideal place for playing or practicing golf. It is one of the only 18 hole courses in the region with six par-3s, six par-4s and six par-5s. The El Chaparral Golf course is scheduled to open in March 2006, along with a pro shop, the golf driving range and a golf academy.
