A new 18 hole layout opened at Dunkerque Grand Littoral in 2006 and the course has already proved a big hit with members and visitors. A nine hole course is also available. The course lies some three miles off the French coast in this evocative and historic corner of Europe. The course was originally designed by Robert Berthet and the eye catching designs of the greens and bunkers that made his work so awe inspiring when first built remain spectacular - and tricky for the golfer - today.
