Dunkeld & Birnam Golf Course can rightfully claim to be one of the most scenic in Perthshire, combining ever changing views with new and interesting tests on every hole. The course was extended to an 18 hole layout in 2000 with the newer holes, which are more parkland like, edging along the Loch of Lowes and boasting of rolling fairways and water features adding even more variety to the old course which was opened in 1922 after Old Tom Morris' original design was taken over for World War 1 trench digging practice. Dunkeld and Birnam Golf Club offers a pleasant challenge and a peaceful round of golf.
