Golf Course Says
Dundonald Golf Club Links Course is part of the Loch Lomond Golf Club stable and offers a championship links course in the heart of Scotland's west coast golfing centre. The course was designed by Kyle Phillips and in its short history has become recognised as one of Scotland's premier courses. Dundonald Links is a 7100 yard par 72 course that is easily accessible from Prestwick Airport and close to Troon. Despite its youth the course looks as if it has been a feature of the area for years and is a must play course for the discerning golfer.

National Club GolferThe real deal. Sister course to Loch Lomond, a thoroughly modern take on the classic links theme. A par here is something to tell the grandchildren.

What an amazing links course. The fairways are a bit sunken so you can't see the other fairways and get a bit of protection from wind, but they haven't been quite as kind to make them U shaped valleys. Quite challenging, lots of gorse and many a burn to steal your ball. Exterior of the clubhouse is 'unique' but the interior is cosy and inviting, and the staff are top notch too. My one (small) complaint was that even though the rental clubs were almost new and good quality, they didn't include a rescue club. Still I give then 5 out of 5 and will return.
