Dumbarton golf course is a parkland course set in the town of Dumbarton. It can suit all types of players from the 36 handicapper to the scratch player due to the different sets of tees. It is generally quite flat and it is low lying and next to the River Leven. The course is well looked after and there is all different types of wildlife from rabbits to herons. The signature hole is the 7th aptly named Punch Bowl due to the green sitting in a kind of bowl shape. It is a par 4 which is a dogleg right. Dumbarton has a par 71.
