Golf Course Says
Doonbeg Golf Club plays along 1.5 miles of beach and dunes and was considered the prime setting for links golf in 1892 by the Scottish Black Watch Regiment. However it was not until 2002 that Greg Norman to fashion a world-class golf course from this linksland. The ocean is visible from the green, fairway, or tee of 16 of the 18 holes and layout of Doonbeg Golf Course features a single loop of nine holes out and nine back. A practice area, driving range, temporary clubhouse and pro shop are available.
