Discount Green Fees at Dooks Golf Club
Golf Course Says
Golf has been played at Dooks Golf Club since 1889. The course at Dooks Golf Club is set out on one of three stretches of sand dunes at the head of Dingle Bay. Dooks Golf Club suits the golfer who is seeking a beautiful and tranquil environment to enjoy good golf. Dooks Golf Course presents a convincing case. Hole number 13 best illustrates the charm and magic of Dooks. It is a throw back hole to the time when golf began. Greens lay where they fell and were better for it.

2-Fore!-1Can there be a more natural and breathtakingly beautiful place to play golf than Dooks golf course? Walk up from the clubhouse to the first tee and the links credentials of the course become immediately apparent; walk to the second tee and the exquisitely beautiful setting will stretch out before you - the Slieve Mish mountains to your left, Rossbehy Creek behind you and Inch Point jutting into Castlemaine harbour also in front of you. As for the Dooks golf course, it is a solid links layout with several shortish par-4's, but plenty of gorse bushes narrowing things down off the tee. The whole area is wonderfully natural, with the golf course making use of good size sand dunes. Although not as grand or spacious as many of the top rated links courses, the beauty and rustic charm of Dooks has won many golfers' hearts and become one of their firm Irish favourites.
