Dollar Golf Club is a traditional Scottish course, clinging to the slopes of the Ochils, that was designed by Ben Sayers over 100 years ago. Sayers allowed the landscape to dictate his design and the course is completely bunker free. At 97 yards the par three second hole is one of the shorter signature holes in Scottish golf but the blind tee shot to a raised green carries a high tarriff. With course management required off the tee and the weather colouring your decisions Dollar Golf Club is a good, old fashioned test of golf.

My Dad and I played Dollar at the start of May on a very much overcast day and with a slight breeze?
I can honestly say I have never played such a course that is built on a hill!! Never mind the terrain, the sheep wandering across the fairway's and greens was in itself hilarious!! It is a short course but the up and down nature makes it play quite long in parts.
A course that I am very, very fond of and will no doubt visit again. If only to see the lambs guarding the flag from my approach shot!!!
