You are guaranteed a memorable round at Dartmouth Golf Club on an impressive undulating course that provides a good test of golf for players of all levels. You'll especially remember the dramatic par 3 finale.
It's a small wonder that a golf course could be constructed amongst the tight folding hills of this area of rural Devon, but not only was this accomplished here at Dartmouth, but a very good golf course was actually produced. Although undulating, many of the holes are well-sighted along the valley floors or up on the higher, more open ground. With many tightish holes you will need to be conservative with the use of your driver, although the overall impression of Dartmouth is a course that is both fair and constantly challenging - from the tips, at 7,200 yards, very challenging indeed. This fair challenge is maintained at the exacting par-3's, where either water lurks dangerously, or a 200+ yard tee-shot will be required. The sea may be glimpsed in the very far distance, but most of all you'll remember the beautiful views across the folding Devon countryside and the peacefulness of it all.
