Cuckfield golf course offers 18 tees aiming at 9 greens and, at a twilight rate of £7.50 for as many holes as you can see, offers great value as well. The first and second tees are elevated, the former having a mature tree 3/4 of the length down the fairway leaving a narrow gap for the brave between it and out of bounds or the timid option to lay up above the green. Cuckfield golf course has a good mixture of wide and narrow fairways and clever pin placements make a challenge for a high handicapper like me. Cuckfields' favorite holes are the fifth to seventh which allow you to attempt to smoke the ball with the big dog.
