GreenFreeFirst laid out in 1894, Craignure Golf Course fell into disuse from 1939 to 1978-9, when it was completely redesigned and rebuilt. Craignure Golf Club runs around the Scallastle River Estuary and is generally reckoned to be one of the toughest in Argyll. Visitors may chose to play from the 'tiger' tees or the more forgiving yellow markers.
