Colchester Golf Club was founded in 1907 and was designed by five time Open Champion James Braid. With fast-running, tree lined fairways it provides a true test of golf for player of all abilities. Although not long at 6,350 yards the par 70 layout has only two par fives that makes scoring difficult and the small, subtly contoured greens are well bunkered meaning accuracy is essential. Colchester Golf Club is undoubtedly one of the finest courses in Essex.

Colchester Golf Club is a very nice and well kept parkland course with some good testing holes. Many tree lined fairways and excellent greens. Colchester Golf Course is well worth a visit.
