Cockermouth Golf Course is a James Braid design and located in the fells near Embleton must surely be one of the most scenic places to enjoy the game in the Country. At 5410 yards in length with a par of 70 the course may not be long but it still presents an enjoyable challenge to players of all abilities. Combined with the spectacular views that accompany you on your round, such as vistas of Bassenthwaite lake and Skiddaw, players at Cockermouth will enjoy a great test in idyllic surroundings.
