Set in the scenic slopes of the Comeragh Mountains just a short distance out of town, Clonmel Golf Course measures 6,327 yards with lots of open space, is a testing course with features abounding. Clonmel Golf Club was founded in 1911 and is one of the oldest clubs in Munster. Originally a 9 hole, it was extended to 18 in 1973. Clonmel Golf Club is located in the foothills of the Comeragh mountains, almost 3 miles from Clonmel Town. Clonmel Golf Course is a beautiful and challenging course with spectacular views of the Suir Valley, Slievenamon and Ravens Rock. Visitors are welcome but booking is advisable particularly at weekends.
