Founded in 1892 Clacton-on-Sea Golf Course is a parkland course that partly runs through wooded terrain and is partly open. At around 6500 yards in length and with a par of 71 the course is well bunkered with fleets (the local name for stream or dyke) crossing many fairways and forming some of the boundaries of the course, Clacton-on-Sea is a test for players of all levels.
