Charnwood Forest Golf Club is an 18-hole layout consisting of 9 fairways and greens with 18 tees that ensures both 9 presents a different challenge to the players. Originally designed by James Braid in 1890 with a vision to make use of the natural environment of rocks, heather, gorse and bracken to challenge the player, Charnwood Forest is a unique challenge. With elevated tees, blind shots and carries over stone walls the heathland course can be played all year round and has greens that are the envy of many clubs in the East Midlands.
