Golf Course Says
The Caversham Heath Golf Course aims to provide an enjoyable golfing experience for all levels of player. With four teeing areas on each of the holes players will be challenged whether it is from the Championship tees which measure over 7000 yards and will test the very best, or club golfers who normally play from the Mens and Ladies tees that measure 6,800 and 6,000 yards respectively. The course is a par 73 from each of the teeing grounds and the layout utilises the mature heathland landscape to provide a rewarding and challenging experience. With the par 5’s and par 3’s spread evenly across the card and in differing directions the player is constantly faced with new tests. Built to exacting USGA standards Caversham Heath is in excellent condition all year round.

Todays GolferA serious test of golf. Helps to be a long driver and you'll love the contoured greens.

Despite a harsh summer the fairways at Caversham Heath Golf Club were lush and green and extremely well kept. The greens were superb. The course plays, and feels by the 18th, like a long course; and despite generally wide fairways, the long rough was long on most holes, and came into play a lot especially on the dog-legs. Bunkers were in excellent condition and at challenging positions for second shots on par 4s. Andy, the Pro, was truly supportive of our Society day, and even obliged with a "Beat the Pro" nearest the pin on the 9th green. Definitely say hello when visiting - genuinely interested in helping golfers of all abilities. He also provided a lesson before teeing off. The Clubhouse was a bit quiet, but had fantastic views from an elevated position above the 18th. Good practice grounds, if a bit of a walk from the clubhouse and 1st tee.
