Golf Course Says
Castle Park Golf Club lies on an undulating site that was once the deer park for nearby Yester Castle - look through the trees behind the 14th green and you'll see the ruins of the old castle. The 6,443 par 72 requires a good sense of course management and provides a tricky challenge for golfers of all abilities. Visitors will also enjoy the chance to visit the picturesque village of Gifford, taking in the beautiful East Lothian countryside.

The "new" front 9 is quite level with some interesting holes and good bunker placement. The back 9 is completely different with some unusual holes and a couple of risk or reward chances, especially the 17th if you are brave enough to go over the trees. Course was in good condition for the time of year and the greens were firm and we struggled to find pitch marks. A nice walk with some cracking views. The staff in the clubhouse were first class and couldn't do enough for our party. Lunch and dinner were very filling and extra portions were available if you could find the space. Well worth a visit
