GreenFreeCarrickfergus Golf Course is a parkland course, that is tree lined with several streams and ponds. Reasonably flat, with the opening tee shot having to be played over a water dam. The 6th hole is also a feature hole played to a hidden green. Lovely views of Carrickfergus Castle and Belfast Lough.

Visit Carrickfergus, and you wouldn't know there was a golf club in the middle of the town! A well laid out test of golf with narrow fairways and more than its fair share of tricky holes - need to be fairly straight from the tee though as trees, bushes and other perils await wayward shots. My favourite holes - the 6th "Quarry" and the "Mound".
