Golf Course Says
Buckpool Golf Club is one of Scottish golf's most treasured secrets. In the fishing village of Buckie, the course has fast, undulating fairways and is built on sand. The quick greens are guarded not only by bunker but also the natural hollows and dips that litter the course. The magnificent outlook across the Moray Firth towards the Caithness hills adds to the enjoyment for golfers of all ability. Buckpool Golf Club was also the site of 1999 Open Champion Paul Lawries first professional victory.

A quiet, unpretentious course where the higher handicap can score well with care, but with a stiff cross-wind off the sea, then even the scratch man can come to grief quite easily. Always presented in very good condition, greens especially. A friendly, down to earth atmosphere in the clubhouse plus a plate of fish and chips to die for! What more could one want?
