Bridgend Golf Complex has holes that vary in length from 75yrds to just over 300yrds, with quite a few around 160-200yrds long. The Fairways are narrow but well kept and the greens are quite small. The bunkers are also small and pretty in-effective but there are a few ponds too which can swallow wayward tee shots. This all makes it a bit more challenging and enjoyable than typical pitch and putt courses - you need to hit straight and can use your driver on two of the holes. I played last week (August 2007) and paid just £6.00 for a round which is great value. There is also a driving range which is good, but the rest of the facilities are poor. For £6.00 a round though you can't go wrong. Last tee off is at around 7pm even in the height of summer which is a shame as it only takes 1 1/4 hour to go round. Great for learning the game or for sneaking in a quick 9 holes when time doesn't permit for a full 18 on a full size course.
