Rising to some 1200 feet above sea level, Braemar Golf Club is the highest course in Scotland. Opened as a 9 hole course in 1902 the course was expanded over the years to the present 18 holes with full clubhouse facilities. Short but challenging Braemar Golf Club has proved to be enduringly popular with visitors and visiting societies. The course is often closed during the winter months.
