I have recently taken up golf and my experiences have varied from the championship course at East Sussex National to the 9 hole at Boar's Head. I've played this one several times now, and for a pay and play facility it really is very good. The range and practice facility including the short game area are ideal, and the course has been thoughtfully laid out in fantastic Sussex countryside. It is mainly par 4s, with a couple of par 3s and a par 5 thrown in, but there is planty of variation on the 4s. Each one has something different to consider, with an element of interest, be it the pond on the 3rd awaiting an errant tee shot, the right to left slope of the 6th fairway, or the 'up-turned sacuer' greens on a couple of the holes. The course is in good nick and well placed hazards make sure that unless you bring your best game your score card could end up taking a beating!
Definitely worth a visit.
