Golf Course Says
Blairgowrie Golf Club began life as a private members club in 1889. Today the club is home to both the Rosemount and Landsdowne courses as well as an excellent nine hole course. All three make good use of the attractive avenues of pine and silver birch that make the land this area of Perthshire so attractive.
Old Tom Morris described Rosemount as the "most beautiful inland green I have ever seen." The course was designed by James Braid who was influenced by Dr Alistair McKenzie the renowned designer of Augusta National. The par 72, 6588 yard course has hosted a number of professional and amateur events and was the scene of Greg Norman's first professional victory in Europe.
