Golf Course Says
At the very heart of Snowdonia National Park lies one of North Wales' hidden gems, Betws-Y-Coed Golf Club. Visitors will be amazed by the views of the world famous Snowdonia Mountain Range and the wildlife that live so abundantly on the course. There are only nine holes but this is a course that offers far more than a run of the mill nine hole course. 18 tees mean interest is kept high throughout the round and the narrow fairways and protected greens means that golfer of all abiliites will be forced to concentrate fully on the task in hand. Betws-Y-Coed Golf Club was reopened in 1977 and since then has been allowed to mature into the delight that visitors will discover today.
Although there are only nine holes at Betws-Y-Coed Golf Club, a second set of tees ensures eighteen individual challenges - tight fairways and well-guarded greens providing a true test of skill. The stunning backdrop of the Snowdonia Mountain Range, combined with the meandering rivers which run alongside the course, help to create Betws-Y-Coed Golf Course, a real slice of golfing heaven.
A sheer delight and arguably the most attractive, scenic course in Britain. The present parkland layout has been wowing golfers since 1977 with the out-of-this-world surrounding. Narrow fairways and well protected greens provide a serious golfing test.
