GreenFreeMagnificent views of Ayrshire and a naturally free draining golf course, make Beith Golf Club an ideal venue for golf. Established in 1896 the course has maturity on it's side with well shaped fairways and fast greens. Playable 12 months of the year.

Don't be put of by the yardage, this is a good, challenging test of golf especially the more mature front 9.Perched on the hills overlooking Beith, on a clear day from the 6th tee you can look north east and see Ben Lomond, turn 180 degrees and you are looking at Arran.
The front 9 is the higher section of the course with a good selection of interesting, varied holes including, in my opinion, the signature 6th hole. Apart from the fantastic views from the tee, it just "looks like a golf hole" from the elevated tee position to the distant green with a jungle of gorse up the right, beware playing in a south easterly wind.
The clubhouse is basic but cosy and friendly with great views and excellent, cheap bar meals (beware ordering the "full breakfast" if any less than a four-ball to share). Well worth a visit, not Geneagles or Turnberry but visit on a nice day during the season and you will have an enjoyable day of golf (for a lot less money)
