Established in 1880 Bath Golf Club is one of England’s oldest and finest inland courses. Assisted by officials from Westward Ho! Golf Club, Bath Golf Club became only the sixth club to be formed in England. Located on a hilltop the course uses the natural contours, undulating fairways and tight greens to present a tough challenge to all golfers. With stunning views that stretch to the Welsh mountains on a clear day the 6442 yard par 71 course benefits from springy downland turf and is afforded excellent drainage from the shallow soil and limestome of ‘Hampton Down’.

GreenFreeBath Golf Course is situated on Bathampton Down, overlooking the Avon Valley, with superb views of Bath and the surrounding countryside. In spite of being on high ground, the course provides a pleasant and untiring mixture of level and undulating playing conditions.

Bath Golf Club is an excellent course. The greens are very fast & it is deceptively long.
