Barra Golf Course is a nine hole course on the Isle of Barra that can lay claim to be the United Kingdom's most westerly golf course. The course opened in 1992 and its nine holes cover some 2396 yards of natural links land with spectacular views out over the Atlantic. The natural turf of the machair land provide an excellent surface for golf. Barra Golf Club is at Cleat and is perfectly situated for the nearby Isle of Barra Hotel.
