Baron Hill Golf Club is a heathland course that Sir Richard Williams Bulkeley designed at the tailend of the 19th century. Today the mature setting hosts 9 holes that measure close to 2800 yards from the white tees with two circuits of the nine carrying a par of 68. Natural hazards play a part, not least the river that crosses three holes. Strategy and careful thought are the chief weapons for anyone hoping to tame Baron Hill Golf Club.
