A warm welcome, a challenging course and beutiful scenery are the defining features of Ballater Golf Club. The 18 hole course measures just over 6000 yards and provides interesting and testing holes for golfer of all abilities. Out of bounds (in the form of the River Dee), elevated tees and elevated greens mean the golfer has to think their way around and take account of cross winds as Ballater Golf Club places a premium on accuracy. The first six holes provide a particular test. A large, refurbished clubhouse offers snacks and meals.

GreenFreeBallater Golf Course is a slightly undulating medium length golf course that is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of upper Deeside. The river itself runs alongside several of the holes as it meanders it's way down to Aberdeen.
