Golf Course Says
Balfron Golf Course, run by the Balfron Golf Society, has risen from the site of an old course that disappeared during the war. A new nine hole course was opened in 1991 and that was extended to 18 holes ten years later. The extension included building ten extra holes with the exisiting 2nd hole replaced. The clubhouse was also extended to provide extra facilities for visitors and members. Ongoing developments include a new 17th green and a tree management programme.
