Opened for play in 1991 Aylesbury Vale Golf Course boasts of being a course run by golfers for golfers and this attitude can be seen in the challenge of the course. At 6,612 yards and with a par and S.S.S of 72 the course if of challenging length and thought the fairways are generous they are tree-lined to punish the errant shot. A brook running throughout the course forms a natural hazard that creates some considerable challenges on several of the holes.
