Discount Green Fees at Athy Golf Club

Athy Golf Club was formed in 1906 as a nine hole course and was extended to 18 holes in 1993. The course had a Par of 71 and it extended to 6,400 yards from the medal tees. Since 2003, Athy Golf Club has carried out some major developmental work on the course to create a tougher test of golf. Athy Golf Club changed the teeing grounds on 11 holes, and built a new Par 5 where the 3rd shot is to a green protected by a lake, we planted new trees and we built 33 new bunkers. The course is now only marginally longer but we decided to put a premium on accuracy and not on length at Athy Golf Club. The course is now a par 72 and it is almost 6,500 yards off the Blues. Despite all these changes we consider our course to be a fair test of golf and we hope you enjoy your visit to Athy Golf Club as much as we enjoy playing it as members.

GreenFreeAthy Golf Club was formed in 1906 as a 9 hole course and was extended to 18 holes in 1993. Further modifications took place in 2003 and it now extends to 6500 yards from the blue tees. Athy Golf Course is well drained by the River and the latter is now a major feature of the course.
